• Baby SEALs Part 1: Beginnings

    Baby Seals Part 1 is the first in a series of books that follows the lives of two children, Jeff and Danielle, who meet when they are six years old and decide they are brother and sister. Part 1 describes their lives from the time they meet until they are twelve. Danielle lives with her mother and stepfather, while Jeff lives with his mother. To say the least, none of these parents are great role models.

     

    When Jeff and Danielle are seven, they are terribly injured, and when they are released from the hospital, they are taken under the wing of an ex-Navy SEAL and members of his team who spend the next several years teaching them everything a SEAL knows, from scuba diving to weapons, unarmed combat, parachuting, combat medic, and even explosives.

    At their core, Jeff writes music, while Danielle is an artist and plays the guitar. All of the new training is laid on top of this. Although they become Christians together early on, their faith takes a major blow when they are injured, and they spend a long time regaining their faith. Through it all, their friends, new ones and old ones, Christian and non-Christian, give them support and encouragement. Also through it all is how God’s hand in their lives is obvious to anyone who can see what is taking place and how all the pieces fit together. Revised in 2020.

    Baby SEALs Part 2

    Baby Seals Part 2 is the second in a series that follows the lives of two children, Jeff and Danielle, who meet when they are six years old and decide they are brother and sister. Their further adventures, now as 12 year olds, begin immediately with a shark attack in the Gulf of Mexico. This leads to their next big project. Danielle now lives with her second set of foster parents, while Jeff still lives with his mother. They are back and active in the church. They continue to practice and add to their SEAL skills. A new sister is added (how many can Jeff take?) Jeff is still writing music; Danielle is using her art in a new way. Some days both are just trying to stay alive. God’s plan is still playing out.

    Baby Seals Part 3 is the third in a series that follows the lives of two children, Jeff and Danielle, who meet when they are six years old and decide they are brother and sister. Their further adventures, now as 13 year olds, begin when they meet Anna, a seventeen year old artist on the run from her abusive parents. It continues with new sky diving skills, rescues including one under water, life and death experiences, and another new sister. Will Jeff’s head explode?

    Baby SEALs Part 4: Water and Exile

    Baby SEALs Part 4 continues Jeff and Danielle’s adventures as they and their friends prepare to dig water wells in two African villages. Preparations proceed smoothly, but unexpected events lead to shocking results. Jeff and Danielle have their faith tested and their inner convictions challenged when their earthly physical training comes into conflict with their spiritual growth.

    Jeff and Danielle return from Africa on their 15th birthday and are grounded. They did drive around for months without a license, after all. The twins receive their motorcycle permits and are grounded again. For saving lives? They grieve loss and celebrate joy. Join them for excitement and adventure as they use their SEAL skills, move to a new city and public school, undertake an underwater rescue at sea, plan for a year in Australia, and more.     Who Knew Dating Could Be So Easy and Love Could Be So Hard

    Recent high school graduate Michael has always planned his life and followed those plans. However, his 1971 move to Dallas from small town West Texas presents unforeseen challenges. Choosing an apartment near Love Field, a location where many flight attendants live, Michael suspects that finding dates will be easy. Not so. Even his alternate Plan B isn't working out for him. With an expected lifespan of at least 200 years, they set about trying to fit into the, for them, primitive society, find a way to stop the war that has been raging worldwide for thirty years in their century before it even begins, and stop the deterioration of the church that is already well underway in the early 1900s.
